New Website Design
Let's celebrate with a discount.
Over the past couple of weeks as I’ve recovered from my surgery, I had plenty of time to work on the business of writing. My creativity wasn’t quite ready for work, so I decided to restructure my website.
There were a couple of reasons.
It’s been two years since I first built it and I’m a big believer in reviewing things to see if they’re still working well
I suspected my search engine optimisation wasn’t as optimised as it could be
I didn’t love how impersonal it felt.
So with that in mind, I looked at the pages, and tried to think like a reader. What information do you want when you hit my website? I figured you might be looking for the next book in a series, or what other series I had. Or you might be new to me and have stumbled on the website through a search. Or you might like to get in touch.
I added a Start Here page for those who were new and might be overwhelmed with the choice. I added a clear series section so you could find the series you wanted, and a reading order page so you know what book is next.
In addition, I added links to join me here on Substack (though I’m still figuring out how to add the link to the header) and broke the books down by genre. I’m still going to add my fantasy books which are written under my pen name Claire Leggett, but after a week of redesign and coding, I needed a break. That can be next month’s task.
In celebration of the update, I’m giving all my paid subscribers 20% off the store until the end of March, 2026.
Monthly paid subscriptions start at $5, so depending on how much you want to spend on the store, you might earn that back with the discount.
I’d love to hear what you think about the new site either way. Is there anything that’s missing/confusing/fabulous? I enjoy all constructive feedback and only want to make it easier for you.
The discount code for my paid subscribers is below.
